Participation First, Victory as a Bonus

As martial artists, we believe that stepping onto the mat and giving your best is the true mark of success. Competition is an opportunity to test skills, grow under pressure, and build camaraderie. Winning is never guaranteed — but this time, it came in abundance.
We’re incredibly proud to announce that every one of our black belts earned a podium finish, securing 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place in their respective events. Many of them competed across multiple categories — including Kata, Kumite, and Team Events — and walked away with multiple medals and trophies.
A Showcase of Skill and Spirit
The tournament was a true test of technical precision, mental discipline, and competitive spirit. Our students demonstrated not only their physical capabilities but also the character and respect that define true martial artists.
From explosive sparring rounds to elegant and focused kata performances, our black belts embodied the teachings of the dojo in every moment.
Gratitude and Recognition
This success is not just the result of individual effort, but a collective journey supported by:
- Parents and families, who stand behind our students every step of the way,
- Fellow students, who train and grow together daily,
- And of course, the instructors and Sensei, who guide, mentor, and inspire.
A special thank you goes to our Chief Instructor, Shihan Sahota, for his exceptional leadership in organising and hosting this prestigious event. His dedication to the art, tireless efforts behind the scenes, and commitment to excellence made the entire championship possible — and unforgettable. As students and instructors, we are deeply grateful for the platform he continues to provide for students to test themselves, grow, and shine.
As their Sensei, I couldn’t be prouder. Watching our students apply what they’ve learned on the national stage — with humility, courage, and focus — is the highest reward.
Looking Ahead
This championship marks a major milestone, but it is also a stepping stone. The journey continues — and we’re excited to keep building, growing, and reaching new heights together.
To our black belts: thank you for your effort, dedication, and the example you set.
To those inspired by their success: the dojo is open, and the path awaits.
